LES OG KOM FFS:
Så, jeg ble 24 i går, så da må man nesten samle folk, grille, drekke, være bajas og ha det moro. Dessuten bæsjer jeg avgårde til gulingland om et par-tre måneder, så drekke med folk før det er kult. Derfor: bursdagsparty!
Hvis du leser dette kjenner du meg mest sannsynlig og er invitert. Enkelt og greit.
Festen begynner klokka 12 på gresset på Sogn, ved studentboligene/Rema 1000. De fleste veit vel hvor det er, men de som ikke gjør det, ta banen til Ullevål og ring meg/send melding. Aner ikke hvor lenge det varer, men det er bare å komme mellom 12 og 12, så er det garantert folk der.
Det er bursdagsparty, men siden jeg har hatt bursdag allerede forventer jeg ikke gaver. Jeg kommer bare til å bli full og miste dem/spise dem opp/stappe dem oppi rumpa til enellerannen annen full stakkar uansett, så. For all del, de som vil gi kan gjerne gi, setter alltid pris på det, men de som bare vil komme og bli fulle, kjør på. :)
Vi sitter ute, så det blir nok rimelig greit med plass. Derfor, gjerne ta med en venn eller ti. Jo fler, jo bedre, rait? Hvis det er noen jeg kjenner, enda bedre.
Altså: søndag, kl. 12, massemasse morsomme folk, øl, grill, gulinger. Det blir garantert awesomesauce, kom, kom! Den som sier nei er en dritt!

Jesus fucking christ, first post in a year and a half or something. Nothing new here, by the way. Well, except for the fact that I've been in Japan for half a year. And I'll go back to Japan in august and stay there for (most probably) four years. Yay? Fuckin 'A it's yay. :)

- There haven't been a lot of updating, nor comments, from me lately, but yeah, I'm alive. And I try to read all of your posts, so don't delete me and stuff, ne?
- I'm scared of the japanese course. I know I'll pass the exam, but my mind tells me that I blew it. Although every time I have that feeling, I end up getting 98%, so it should be ok. But still.
- When you're having an half-an-hour long conversation with a cute Japanese girl, in Japanese, about poop, you know you're taking the right subject.

- In relation to my last post, I think I'm getting paranoid. My mind is a huge mess, and I don't know what to do. I just wanna lie down and give up...but heck, where's the fun in that?

I dag, fredag, begynner animeaften opp igjen. Samme sted, samme tid; Helga Engs Hus, 17.30 til 20.30. Vi kjører igang med Ghost In The Shell: Innocence (den andre filmen) og en Ranma film. Og denne gangen kommer det helt sikkert masse folk, så pell dere dit dere og, de to første visningene er gratis. :)

Folk, amidelf har bursdag på lørdag. Møt opp på Outland Østbanehallen klokka 4 for kinamat og øl og ting og tang, ta med venninner og småsøsken og hvem faen, han kommer ikke til å huske om han har møtt dem før eller ikke uansett. Han er kjedelig, så han vet ikke at jeg skriver dette (siden han sjekker lj en gang i måneden), så nevn det for ham, og du er en kuk. Det blir gøy, kom for faen!

Tiny problem. Turns out I`m too much a geek and have bought too much stuff while in Japan. Therefore, I might have a _little_ bit (read: a fucking ton) of overweight on the plane. I`m slightly considering sending some of my stuff in the mail, slightly considering bribing the luggageguy to not include the handluggage in the 20kilo limit. Therefore, tips to get my shit all the way to Norway plz?
And by the way, 2 litre bottles of beer ftw. Seriously. Totally ftw.

Og forresten, jeg vil ha russekort av alle dere som er russ i år. Selv om jeg er lat og ikke orker å finne "comment her, ellers får du ikke russekort, din jævel"-postene deres, som forøvrig er hundre lysår bak i flisten min. Herregud, jeg skulle gjerne tatt en friendscut hvis det ikke hadde vært for at jeg er så dritlat. Enten det, eller så får dere skrive en post i uka hver, ikke mer. Meaning, Outland will give away free comics, hack 20% off comic book-collections (which probably includes manga) to anyone cosplaying (oh, I am so there) and basically just give us geeks a good time. So I propose a comic book-geek meeting. Outside Outland, 3-ish. Should be awesome.

Ah, summer is soon upon us. Nice weather, chicks with much less clothing, beering/grilling in the park. Bliss. And because I'm fucking stoked about that, here's a small preview of things to come. I'm not sure if I have posted it before, but fuck that. Just look forward to the summertime, yo.
I'm doing fine, by the way. Not dead yet despite lack of commenting/posting, just really busy. So remove me from your flist and get a nice, big kick in the arse. :)
And whose fucking idea was it to start airing a whopping 50 animes in april (thankfully, only 20-something are currently being subbed, but still...)? Which happens to be the month for school assignments. Guess who'll be failing his two classes this semester, jeez. But on the bright side, I might do a short review of this month's (subbed) anime pretty soon. So. Yeah. Look forward to that.

Hvis det hadde vært en ekstra Animeaften-visning, si...på onsdager, hvor det hadde blitt vist to og to episoder av forskjellige serier hver uke med ekstra fokus på helt nye serier, små godbiter dere aldri har hørt om og random temakvelder med yaoi, sportsanime osv, hvor mange av dere kunne tenke dere å møte opp da? Og ja, dere vil isåfall ha en ganske god mulighet til å velge hvilke serier som blir fyrt opp.

So, this is basically my plans for this week. And yet another hopeless attempt to drag your lazy asses out for a drink or ten. So if you're underage, and don't have a fake leg, you might as well skip ahead to the saturday-part. :/
Tuesday: Quiz at the Fredrikkepub at Blindern. It starts at 19.00, but if you want a place to sit, be there at least 15 minutes earlier. I guess I need a couple of more people on my team, Barberskummm@, because we didn't really do that well last time. Last place with 5 out of 40 points. XD But anyway, there's free beer for the winning team, so join in, even if you're not that bright. Maybe we'll hit a whopping 6/40 this time.
Friday: There's Gamingaften instead of Animeaften this friday, so it'll obviously be pretty fucking fun. Three hours of gaming on the big screen should be rather nice. ^_^
I will most likely be in town for beer a couple of hours before the Gamingaften, so if anyone's thirsty, lemme know. And naturally, there will be beer afterwards, most likely at the RF-kjeller'n because it's fucking cheap. 20 NOK for the entrance, 30 for beer, 10 for shots. You can't really beat that.
Saturday/sunday: This is probably the coolest part of the week. TSP, The Shadow Project, are having a Nostalgicon this weekend. Which means they'll be showing all the classic shit from childhood past: Shagma (Les Mondes Engloutis), He-Man, M.A.S.K., Duck Tales, Spellbinder, Det var en gang et menneske and a lot of other awesome stuff. The program is under the link above. It starts up around 13.00, so I hope I'll see you guys there, it'll be a blast. :D~~

Whoa. 24. Last fifty seconds of 512. Best tv-moment ever. Seriously. I'm not gonna spoil it, obviously, but fuck, those few seconds left me sobbing like a little schoolgirl.
And on a random note, and because tiny lj-posts suck, here's the X3 trailer (didn't see that one coming, did you). It was pretty fun, so I kinda just had to post it. Looks like this one will feature lots of explosions and mutants beating the living shit out of each other. Literally (Yes, that looks like a funeral scene. Guess people are biting the dust both on the telly and the big screen in '06).
And to get your attention, and because it's pretty fucking cool, here's a promo-poster for the Silent Hill movie. It just popped up over at AICN, so it's probably pretty fresh. And I'm God, so I don't have to use lj-cut:

Currently in darku's life:
* My computer has been buttraped for a week now (so sorry if I haven't commented your post, I foamed quickly through my friendslist just now and I don't have the time to comment everything. Too damn many posts. .___.), and I'm having a tough time. Mainly because there's unseen Prison Break, 24, Justice League and a crapload of other shows, and anime, to be watched. Not coping with this very well. I need my goddamn entertainment.
* And on a related note, I'm considering buying a mac.
* I think I'm officially working at the manga cafe (Sub Scene, Kirkegata 34, in the alley next to Spiderman, the place with animecharacters on the toilet doors) now. I'll probably be doing random work like shopping, suggesting new titles and putting stuff around the books. There's actually a nice bunch of manga there, even stuff I've never read, so you should all stop by sometime. I _might_ be there thursday evening if that helps.
* Speaking of work, I might get a job at my father's kindergarten. He seems to be very keen on me doing it, and I do need the money, but I hate having to get up early. And I hate poopy-diapers. Sigh. The kids seems to like me, although I suspect it's because I'm a nice change from my old man, who...well...is chubby, wears glasses, has a beard and looks like a modern hippie. And yes, he does look scary enough to make kids cry. XD
* And by the way, that's not me in the latest issue of Gamereactor. That's my...kid brother. Yes. Go away.
* Animeaften are currently airing Gravitation (more gayness! XD), Last Exile and Tsukikage Ran. The program owns, y'all better fucking show up this friday, yo!
* I actually got two valentine-messages yesterday. Which was cool. Ironically, they were both from guys. Sigh.
* Attended two highly enjoyable birthdayparties last weekend, which was awesome and a nice change, considering I go to parties once every 20th year. But I actually had a really good time. There was a waterpipe (which was...fruity... XD), tiny, cute asians (including my hawt ex-sensei) and gay undertones all around, so I don't know how it could be boring. Funniest two days of '06 so far.
* I fucking love my jap. litterature and jap. religion classes. The first one because we have to read the weirdest stories ever. The topics are either masturbation, whorehouse-visiting or gayness. And I'm having a blast reading about it. And if you look away from the sexuality of the books, they're still brilliant. Almost every single one of them. Oh, and there's hot girls in the class, too. Damn, do I enjoy this course.
And then there's religion. The people in the class are bloody great and the teacher is funny, slightly geekishly and seems like a really decent guy. But the greatest thing about it is the slightly chubby guy sitting in the front. He's making _loud_ noises every tenth second, asks stupid questions and starts combing his hair in the middle of the class. But the best thing ever is that he throws fireballs. One of the people sitting next to him told me he started molding the air with his hands while making weird noises. Suddenly, he threw the "fireball" Dragonball-style at the teacher with the biggest moan ever. It was so loud, I almost pissed myself. And then he continued with the regular, slightly lower, but still loud, moans. Funny stuff. XD And did I mention that he wears those sleeveless tanktops? Yeah, seems like they can come in handy when you decide to pop the zits on your arms for half a class. He also managed to slightly insult one of my classmates by calling him a wannebe-goth ("You're one of those wannabees, aren't you?" "...huh?" "You're one of those wannabe-goths." "..."), which was the funniest thing ever. I guess life at the university is doable, even without the japanese. XD

Ok, så jeg vurderer å bestille et lite tonn med manga fra amazon.com. Hvordan blir det med toll og moms og alt det dritet da? Såvidt jeg har skjønt det blir det ikke moms på det siden det er bøker, men det blir toll siden det ikke er skjønnlitteratur. Eller. Faen, jeg veit ikke. Noen?
Tips med hvordan jeg kan unnslippe andre eventuelle avgifter er også velkomne, naturligvis.

No kidding this time. I won Gamereactor´s The Godfather competition (over at www.gamereactor.com/konkurrencer) the other day, so it seems like they´re coming to my house tomorrow with a big-ass tv, the new The Godfather game and random other stuff, which should be pretty fucking awesome. On that occasion, I´m throwing a party with a mafia theme. That´s right, get your big hats, coats and italian accents on, and join in. You might even pop up in the next edition of Gamereactor. :D I´ll wait outside Outland tomorrow until 16.35 if anyone wanna join up (if you´re late, gimme a ring). The party will happen in Asker, so remember to bring money for the train fare and shit. There´ll probably be beer, so if you´re under 18, go away. Unless you bring your fake ID, then, I guess I´ll allow it. :3

Animeaften starts up again this friday, January 20th. Same time, same place, I guess.
As far as I know, I _think_ we'll start up with Spirit of Wonder and
El Hazard OAV 1. A rather odd choice, but what the hell. Should be a blast anyway. :)
And as a tiny preview, here's what _may_ pop up later this year: Juuni Kokuki (I thought this was mediocre, but everybody else in the world thinks otherwise. It's currently on 4th place in anidb's top ten, so you might wanna try it out), Gravitation (Fagalicious!), Princess Tutu (I still not sure how the fuck this made the final cut... XD), Last Exile (I've heard a lot of good things about this, should be a nice watch), The Wings of Honneamise (the classic Gainax movie), Shingetsutan Tsukihime (I'm not too keen on this one. Sounds gory, though, so it might be good), Tsukikage Ran (female samurai-action. Not the next Kenshin, but I think it could be pretty fun), Otogi Zushi (I've only seen a couple of episodes, but it seems decent), El Hazard OAV 2 (sequel to the first OAV, which we're showing this friday, obviously).
And that's it. Could've been better, could've been worse, but I think it's pretty decent overall. Spread this around and bring your friends. See ya there!

Fuckers didn't want me on the telly after all. I kinda had a hunch all along, probably because I answered wrong to almost all of their stupid-ass questions. Who fucking cares how many counties there are in Norway. Jeez, pick someone smart if that's what you want. YOU NEED AT LEAST ONE STUPID GEEK IN THE HOUSE ALSO, YOU FAGS! And if there's no otakus in the house, I'll be pissed. Heia Tufte didn't have any otakus, so if this lacks anime geekiness too, they can fucking kiss my ass.
I wanted this so bad, basically so I could get some change into my life, do something really fun for a change. Although I didn't really mind when they phoned me up and told me "naw, you're not in, though you came pretty damn close", mainly because I had beer and cute japs around me, now, it's kind of a bummer. But heck, that's life. At least I'm able to concentrate on my studies now. And if they're making a second season, I'm so gonna get on that one. Because there should be more realityshows with beer-chugging, panty-chasing, fun-loving geeks with "I want a Japanese boyfriend" t-shirts running around without their pants on. So there. Fuckers.
